How does Sync Link compare to Microsoft Bookings?

Sync Link and Microsoft Bookings are two very different tools. While Microsoft Bookings is a booking tool, Sync Link is an availability-sharing tool.

Microsoft Bookings allows other people to see your available time slots. So it’s a great tool if someone outside your company needs to book a meeting with only you.

However, if you need to include other people from within your team in the meeting, Microsoft Bookings won’t be able to help.

Let’s say you are a salesperson who needs to book a call that includes yourself, a technical consultant and solutions consultant from your team in a client meeting. If you used Microsoft Bookings the client would have to check three calendars (one for each person). You probably aren’t going to put that kind of schedule-checking burden on your customer, because well, they’re the customer, and you likely want to make it as easy as possible for them to book a call with you.

The other challenge is that when you book your meeting, it’s probably not always going to be the same technical consultant or solutions consultant on your call. Again, Microsoft Bookings will not be able to create a consolidated list of availability for either a fixed combination of people or an impromptu combination of people.

If you have multiple people from your company attending a meeting and those people are a different combination of people each time, Sync Link solves that by easily creating a consolidated availability calendar for an impromptu combination of people in your organization that continually updates as individual calendars change.

It will save your customers (and you!) time and frustration of back and forth emails trying to find a time that works.
